Hello, and welcome to City Hare Studio!
Name’s Niko, and I’m a one-man-operation out of the great city of Aalborg in the northern part of Denmark.
Professionally, I am a software engineer at a small IoT company, but in my free time I like to play and design board games.
I pride myself on being a bit of a jack of all trades.
As mentioned, I’m a professional software developer who makes games on the side, but I have quite a few hobbies, which I tend to pick up as I go about my life. My hobbies include
- Cooking
- Photography
- Playing Music
- Playing Games (both digital and analogue)
- and many many more.
Why “City Hare”?
Aalborg is home to quite a few hares that all live downtown in the city centre.
You’ll often find them frolicking in the parks and various green spaces all over town.
I dub these hares “city hares” because they so unusually live in the middle of downtown. The studio’s name is an homage to these majestic creatures 🙂
About the Logo
The round rabbit icon was drawn by @cyberspacecat, which I had made for an old homebrew Arimaa project. Figured a logo based on a game piece on a site about board game publishing was fitting.
The font is BrickBat by P.D. Magnus.
